Rider Information for the Lemhi Valley Century
The Evening Before: (approx. 5:00-9:00 pm)
There will be a rider gathering, meet & greet, and ride bracelet pickup on the patio of the HUB in Salmon, the community bike shop at 206 Van Dreff Street. The bike shop will be open that evening for last minute purchases or maintenance.
A last minute registration table will be open for your friends who tagged along on a whim! Ask for Deb.
Take four steps across the patio and you can find fantastic food and beer at the Pork Peddler.
Ride Morning, June 10:
Cyclists check in, load bikes, and board buses at Salmon City Park (the one with the pool, golf course, and softball fields at the East end of town). This is also where the ride ends. There is plenty of parking available at City Park.
LOAD TIMES: (HELMETS ARE REQUIRED !!! Please be sure your water bottles are full prior to boarding the bus.)
- 100 milers- load at 4:30 am, bus leaves at 5:00 am – ride starts at 7:00

Again, please don’t leave a car at the start – make arrangements!
Aid Stations/Support: Support is all along the route (details below) and Aid Stations will offer water, fruit, and other snacks. A SAG wagon will follow the last rider all day to the finish. Other volunteers with 2-way radios will be driving the course throughout the day. Look for the orange flagging on their mirrors. If you have trouble, stop, wait, and flag them down. Sherriff’s Dept. and Highway Patrol will also be on the route.
Carry with you: appropriate layers of clothing for Idaho weather conditions, sunscreen, your favorite sports drink or special food, spare tires/pump. Carry a cell phone; there will be some sections of the course with service.
